Budget and Transparency Coordinator
This position will develop and present the budget for the State Treasurer’s Office as well as oversee the Show-Me Checkbook, the Treasurer’s Office financial data transparency portal.
Primary responsibilities include:
Develop and present the internal and external budgets for the Missouri State Treasurer’s Office including testifying before various legislative budget committees. Maintain and enhance the Treasurer’s Office transparency portal, the Show-Me Checkbook, by updating information as needed and proactively engaging with local governments to add more local government information.
Minimum qualifications include the equivalent of a four-year college degree with the ability to operate standard office equipment, experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook Software. Preferred qualifications include experience in the following areas: personnel management, state budgeting, advanced Excel knowledge, Microsoft Access, Tableau, and local government finance.
Salary commensurate with experience.
