Executive Assistant – Capitol Office
This is a highly responsible support position whose primary responsibility is to perform a variety of tasks in direct support of the State Treasurer and Capitol Staff.
Primary responsibilities include:
This position will serve as the first point of contact for constituents both in person and via phone and email. As such, successful candidates will need to be able to tactfully and efficiently assess the needs of the individual for proper management. Daily tasks may include: general secretarial work, scheduling, constituent management as well as the composition, formatting, and proofreading of office documents and correspondence, and other tasks as needed to facilitate office operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Successful candidates must have good customer service skills and attention to detail.  At minimum, a high school diploma is required, but the equivalent of a four-year college degree or four years’ experience in a secretarial position is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and the ability to operate standard office equipment is required. In addition, this position requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and the ability to stay organized and manage time effectively. Previous experience in state government is also preferred. 
Annual Salary Range $25,000 – $35,000
